What are the best special attractions in Maine?

What are the most important things that we should be sure to see, do, etc?

Acadia National Park
Tag sales along the way to any point(I've gotten some great stuff over the years)
Lobster for lunch and dinner(also try eating at a lobster pound)

One visit we set our sites on finding the best lobster roll we could. Purchases were made from church sales, roadside stands and restaurants. I believe it was a roadside stand that won.

We also have loved taking mail boats to various locations including Isle au Haut off of Stonington.

PamSF by tag sales do you mean what we call garage sales in Illinois? and what is a lobster pound? Can you tell me more about going to Isle au Haut and how long it takes to get there from Acadia and how long the trip is?

Don't miss the Lobster Risotto at The Waterfront Restaurant in Camden.. YUM If the weather is nice, you can sit on the deck and watch the boats come in to the harbor.
