San Francisco, where to eat near Hotel Nikko

Wondering if I might get some restaurant recommendations for dining near Hotel Nikko. We like most cuisines, Doesnt need to be the fanciest, most expensive places, just great food in a comfortable atmosphere. Already tried to book Flour + Water, but they are booked (not sure if they are close to hotel or not). Looking forward to another great trip to SF! Thanks!

Millenium is close to you, if you like vegan.

Flour & Water is not close to the hotel. To figure it out yourself, use Google map and ask for directions between point A (your hotel) and point B (the restaurant).

On Geary, Colibri is good upscale Mexican. Also on Geary, there's a Japanese restaurant I've never tried, but every time I walk by there 's a line out the door - Katana Ya. The Grand Cafe in the Hotel Monaco is quite good and it's a gorgeous room. If you're interested in upscale Indian, Amber India Is on Market near 4th. If you want really high-end, Ame (in the St. Regis at 3rd and Mission) is great. I've heard the Chinese restaurant across the street (both are around the corner from MOMA), Fang, is good.

One Market, a contemporary American and California cuisine is by far one of my favorite restaurants in San Francisco. The food is scrumptious and the service is superb. One Market is located just across from a famous San Francisco Landmark "The Ferry Building"

Now, you can not missed dinning at Perbacco, a sleek and modern northern Italian restaurant with an exquisite menu. Perbacco is located in the Financial District about a 15 minutes walking distance.

Closer to Hotel Nikko try Fish and Farm, a tiny little place a block away from the hotel, but with delicious options from the ocean and from the farm. Last but not least, on a more casual dinning option you should definitely try Sakana, a quaint little Japanese restaurant with very authentic and delicious menus.

I hope you enjoy your stay at this lovely city.

Puccini & Pinetti had good Italian food a couple of years back, not sure if still good.

Kuleto's, Grand Cafe in that area.
