Resort or Spa for chemo R&R this June

Hi. Am meeting my family at a resort/spa/hotel in June. I have been in treatment for 4 years and am running out of steam so need someplace nice and non demanding for me--maybe cooking lessons or meditation, but somewhere where the rest of the family can bicycle or sight see a bit. Have no idea whether we should be looking for a spa, a resort, a B&B. We are in our 60's and would like an easy trip from DC and Atlanta. It's only for 3-4 nights so we are not worried about the cost. Advice would really appreciated.
Thanks,
Ellen

Would you consider New Orleans? You don't have to step foot on Bourbon Street to experience the great music, food, and laid back vibe of this great little city. There were cooking classes going on next to one of Emeril's restaurants when we visited last year. I'm going to miss NOLA this year (last minute business trip to London changed every plan I considered) but will return as soon as possible!

Hope you feel better soon.

My other suggestion is Chatham Bars Inn in Chatham, Mass on Cape Cod. It's a gorgeous resort hotel, you can rent 'cottages' overlooking the sea and it's a short drive, walk, bicycle ride to the shops and restaurants in downtown Chatham. It's a very healing place. Peaceful and upscale...

Thank you, these are all good suggestions. We are on the East Coast and staying pretty local. There is a lux hotel resort in Cambridge, Md. on the Eastern Shore of Md. The Eastern Shore is unique and flat for bicycle rentals. Cambridge is a charming town with cafes and cute shops. And it's 1 1/2 hours from my house which makes it so easy. Thanks for your responses. I don't know why I didn't see them until now.
