We saw it a few years ago--got the tickets at TKTS. It opened in 1987, and when we saw it, the lead actress had only missed one performance--for a family wedding, I think. It was a decent murder mystery. The theater was upstairs in a building with no elevator, so don't take anyone with mobility issues.

I know it's been playing for years, but I've heard from several good theatre friends that it is simply awful and amateurish. Can't speak personally, as I read it, thought the script was terrible and have no desire to see it.

mclaurie-We decided against this show because of reviews! We wanted to see as many shows as possible and thought that seeing one off broadway would be an inexpensive option! I need to remember "you get what you pay for!"
Thanks for the input!!

An off Broadway show is a great idea, but not this one. I forget when you're coming and who's in your party, but long playing popular ones include Blue Man Group, Stomp, Fuezerbruta, Altar Boyz. Many are availabel at the TKTS booth or on discount on broadwaybox.com
Here's a list from the NY Times with indication of which they recommend. http://theater2.nytimes.com/venues/off-broadway.html
