Oak Haven Resort
I have booked cabin number 32 at the Oak Haven Resort in Sevierville Tennessee in July. I was looking for any feed back on the cabin such as location and view etc. Along with things to do and attractions to see while there.

I am pretty sure we had this cabin. It is in a nice location with cabins to the right and left. The view is not spectacular - the back deck overlooks a wooded area. There is a map of all the cabins on the oakhavenresort.com website that will show you where it is located. One time we had cabin 5, which is close to the road, so there was some noise. Cabin 32 is much quieter.
There are a lot of things to do. One would be to go to Cade's Cove, which is about 45 minutes from Oak Haven. You could also drive into Gatlinburg and then thru Smoky Mountain National park where there a lot of hikes. If you like shopping, Pigeon Forge has many outlet malls. I think the Dixie Stampede (dinner show) is fun. I haven't been to Dollywood since it first opened, so I cannot really comment on it. Consider getting a trip planner from mypigeonforge.com.
Enjoy your trip!

It appears to me that your cabin is on a cul-de-sac so that should be a great location. Also looked at the photos for it and your open porch is on the back, so likely a good view (of probably trees!).
We will be there also in July in cabin #60. It appears we are within hollering distance.
There's so many things to do, but one gorgeous drive is Roaring Fork Motor Trail. So pretty and you can hike to Burgess Falls from there.
Most of our time will be spent at Dollywood with the grandgirls! It's a great amusement park.
It is 2 adults going or a family? Let us know and we can recommend other adventures.
Have fun and holler across the way!!!!

If it's just you and your wife, then you have definitely chosen the right place. Oak Haven is great.
There's lots of good hiking trails in the area and lots of motor trails for sightseeing. Everyone recommends Cades Cove, but since you are going during such a busy time of the year, I would say skip it. The sightseers are slow slow slow and it's one lane, one way so you can't turn around if you change your mind.
If you like shows, Country Tonite is a great show and Louise Mandrell puts on a dynomite show at her own theater.
Great outlets and shopping in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville.
Unless you plan to eat in, ask the locals about restaurants. Most of the restaurants in that area are overpriced for not very good food. There's no fine dining really unless you go to Knoxville.
I know you didn't ask, but our favorite country food is at Log Cabin Pancake House in Pigeon Forge. They have a very small buffet with fried chicken like mama used to make, country ham and some other meat. About 4 or 5 veggies and peach cobbler. On Sundays, they have deviled eggs and banana pudding. Very small salad bar..
Have you been on vacation in that area before?
