Does anyone know of a car rental agency at Oakland Airport (CA) that is lightning fast? I have to fly in and get a car on Friday morning as fast as humanly possible, which means cutting through lines and bureaucracy ahead of time. Any thoughts please. Thanks! (BART is not an option for what I'm doing)

Dollar and Thrifty are both very fast if you put all your information on file in advance. That done, you walk directly to the car you booked. It is great.
Dollar's service is called "Fast Lane Express" and Thrifty's is "Blue Chip."

PS Other car rental agencies must have this service, but I use Dollar or Thrifty because I like their rates and service.
If you were a Hertz #1 club member, you could go straight to your car.
Hire a limo and get on your way right out the door. Since you are being so elusive about "what I have to do" this is obviously the FASTEST way to get from the airport other than a taxi.

Even as a Hertz #1 member you still have to take a shuttle out to the car rental area. It's not terribly efficient, and it's the case for all the car rental agencies in Oakland. We made the funeral that we were attending however, so it's all good.
Thanks for the follow-up, and condolences to you.
Thanks HTTY.
