Dessert spot near Disneyland Anaheim

We have relatives visiting southern California this month who have invited us to get together during their stay. They will stay in a south Orange County beach city and at/near Disneyland both of which are an hour+ drive for us. We are inclined toward the Disney area and it looks like there is a Hagen Daz shop in Downtown Disney, but I wonder if anyone knows of any other options in the Disney hotels or in the Anaheim area for dessert? There will be 6 of us including 2 young children. Thanks for your suggestions.

The problem w/ Downtown Disney during the busy summer months -- there are often pretty long queues for the restaurants.

Which beach town?

If you want to be at Diwntown Disney, my lick would be appetizers and desserts at Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen! The food is delicious, they have indoor and outdoor seating, great for kids, sometimes live music and it's fun! Best of all, you can make a reservation online, so no long waits!

I've never been to a Cheesecake Factory that didn't have a horrendous wait.

I like Cheesecake Factory too but we just learned they will be at one of the Disneyland hotels so we want to stick to the hotels or Downtown Disney. Brennan's might do the trick. DH and I have never been there because I can't eat spicy foods; dessert would be an opportunity to try it.
