Breakfast places around Empire State Building /Hotel Chandler (NEW YORK)

Hi everyone !

I'll be travelling to NY next month and was wondering if locals and travelers have suggestions on places to have Breakfast around the Empire State Building area/ Flat Iron District/ Hotel Chandler.
Preferably within walking distance.

Thank you

One of my favorites is City Bakery on 18th Street, right off Fifth Avenue. They actually know how to make croissants. Cafeteria style, always crowded.

Donut Plant just opened a branch in the Chelsea Hotel, could be the best donuts in town.

Enjoy.

If you just want a quick breakfast, there are many "delis" throughout Manhattan that have breakfast specials or just a muffin or bagel.

If you get advernturous go to Ess-A-Bagel. There is one on Third Ave and 51 St. The bagels are large and doughy and fantanstic.

Skylight looks good, but it's a hike from the Chandler which is on E. 31 btwn 5th & Madison.

We like Keko cafe on Madison, it is tiny but the coffee is excellent and breakfast, while not elaborate, is good. The cafe is at 121 Madison near East 30th. Menu and hours can be found here: http://www.kekocafe.com
