Best places to listen to jazz on Oahu?

Going to Oahu in September. My husband loves jazz (Dave Burton, Pat Matheny, Jim Hall, Kenny Barron, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck etc.) Any recommendations for the best places to listen to jazz on Oahu?

Thanks Bookhal - did that before I posted. About 5 places came up but not all look like they play the kind of jazz he would be interested in. Looking for comments/recommendations from folks who may have been to any of them?

Hi luvtravl,
I live in Honolulu and am very active in the theater and music scene. Since you already went to the Honolulu Jazz website, you might also try www.honoluluboxoffice.com
There are some great events listed of things to do in Honolulu and an easy way to get tickets at the same time.

Most Hawaii Musicians have different gigs every week, so not always performing at the same place on a regular basis. Check out JazzMinds, the Hanohano Room at the Sheraton Hotel, Lewer Lounge at Halekulani. Also I think there is a contact email on the Honolulu Jazz website. contact them about your preferences. Good luck!

My dear,

If you really want to know what's going down on the Honolulu jazz scene, consult http://www.honolulujazzscene.net.

No hype, no BS, no cost to anyone.

Beware the local hucksters.
