Ashland, OR lodging and dining
We're going to be in Ashland on a weeknight in late May. I want to keep our lodging (2 adults) under $100.-, and so far the Cedarwood Inn looks good. Any other suggestions are welcome. Also, any casual dining (not fast food) suggestions would be appreciated.

Trippin, Cedarwood is a fine choice. Right down the street from Omar's. Best place for fresh Seafood and Steaks.
also at that end of town-Wiley's World Fresh Pasta Eatery; El Arriero has taken over The former Azteca in the Albertson's shopping center along with Bonsai-Teriyaki/Sushi place in place of Hummingbird's. Both Very Tasty, well Prepared. also Miguel's on the East side of the Freeway fo more mex, as well as Soco's in the Underground Marketplace.
Yuan Yuan in the Shopinkart Parking Lot is Good, + Apple Cellar Bakery is across the Street. Open early. Giseppi's for $2.00 pizza by the slice.

TJ, houses are across the street from the Cedarwood, but you are on an edge of the triangle formed by Siskiyou Blvd. Ashland street(hwy 66), and Tolman Creek Rd. Pretty easy walking to anything I've mentioned, + downtown is just a mile to the north, with the campus in between. If you're a walker, no problem.

The Ashland Bakery & Cafe is a nice place for a casual meal. We have had some good lunches there and do great pizza. Alex's across the street is also good if you want to dine with views of the creek. We like to sit out on the patio upstairs there. ***kim***

We stayed in Ashland this past Tues. evening at the Plaza Inns and Suites. We had an amazing meal at Amuse in Ashland, very good food.
For those coming to the Ashland area, I also highly suggest a stop at the Rogue Creamery in Central Point. Very cool place with some excellent Bleu Cheese and a very friendly and fun staff there. ***kim***
