Arizona Inn, Tucson

Has anyone stayed at the Arizona Inn in Tucson? Pros? Cons? Recommendations?

Any "not to miss" sights in Tucson?

Many thanks.

I've never stayed here, but as a Phoenix native, I can assure you that the AZ Inn is considered one of the top resorts in Tucson. Quiet, classy, expensive.

I have never stayed there but have eaten in their dining room and I have attended a couple of weddings there. It is beautiful - the grounds are lovely. I am sure it is very nice staying there. It is a first class accomodation. It is centrally located and in a neighborhood, which would be nice for morning or evening walks. Must sees in Tucson include the Desert Museum, Saguaro National Monument, Sabino Canyon. There are so many great places to hike and enjoy the beauty of the Sonoran Desert. There are some great restaurants in Tucson as well, including Janos or J Bar, North, Firebirds, Barrio Grill, Wildflower. If you want a great pizza in a dive of a place go to Zacharys near the University (which is close to the Arizona Inn). If you want a great local brew pub go to Gentle Ben's, also by the U.
Enjoy!

Thank you for the responses!

I found a descent package on luxurylink.com that is somewhat reasonably priced. I may give it a try.

Thanks again.
