scottsdale area hotel/resort

traveling to Scottsdale mid September. Would like to choose a resort/hotel that is clean/modern and no more than $350/night. Good rates found at The Boulders and Marriott Camelback Inn - are they outdated, or did I just find a good rate....?

thanks

They are both fabulous. I personally like the location of Camelback Inn and most of our visitors pick it as the most like what they thought Arizona would look like. It is easy to get all over the valley from that location. (You might check about the extensive remodeling going on in the lobby/entrance area and see if they'll be finished by then). Camelback Inn is the one I would pick as a local. The Boulders is absolutely gorgeous, much like Arizona also, located in north Scottsdale, though there are plenty of things to do in that far-out area also. You cannot go wrong at all with either of them.

The Camelback Inn is a beautiful property! They are finishing up a renovation project this spring. The property is amazing with a combination of desert and green. There a couple of pools and some hiking trails. Downtown Scottsdale is about 15 minutes away.
