Scottsdale Resort?
My husband and I (30s) are planning a vacation in Scottsdale in April - just us, no kids. At this point, my three choices are Camelback Inn, the Biltmore and the Fairmont Princess. I've heard mixed reviews on all three - - very confused! Trying to decide where to stay . . . can someone offer some advice?

RL,
Your three choices of hotel resorts are excellent. You can't go wrong with either one. These are the top resorts! Camelback Inn is located on Lincoln Dr in posh Paradise Valley, residential area, centrally located to PHX/SCOTTSDALE. The Biltmore Hotel is located in PHX right near the upscale Biltmore Shopping Center/restaurants. Lastly, the Fairmont Princess is located in the north Scottsdale area a bit farther from shops and rest, although a lot of building has gone up around there. I guess it depends on the locale as to where would be best.

I love the Biltmore. I used to organize a company conference there every year.
Warning, however: Unless there has been a huge remodel, the rooms in the main building are very small. If those rooms are all you can afford, I'd stay somewhere else. There is a building toward the back of the property which has its own pool. (Sorry, with I could remember the name.) I always made sure my room was in that building.

All your choices are sensational and I like the Biltmore's location........our out of visitors always LOVE Camelback Inn when we are driving them around to see the resorts, definitely tops just from the look of it and it is marvelous, they always say they would choose it if they weren't staying at our five star house......

We loved the Biltmore so much, we got married there! It is a great choice, you'll be very pleased.
However, as previous poster mentioned, some of the rooms are not great, very dark and gloomy. This resort is huge, ask for a bright room (lots even have balconies/terraces).
April is a perfect time in Arizona! Have fun.
