Olympia - Phoenix Inn Suites or Ameritel - dinner?

We're on a college tour and will be visiting St. Martin's in Lacey. I'm guessing Olympia is a more interesting overnight stop? I can get the Ameritel for $109 or Phoenix Inn Suites for $99. Preference? Are there any good restaurants nearby? Thanks so much!

Isn't the Ameritel in Lacey? Whatever/wherever - we enjoyed our stay there a few years back and would stay there again. Hotel had breakfasts, plus cookies at the front desk. For supper, we wound up at Applebees.

The Phoenix Inn has a good location near downtown Olympia and very near two good restaurants--Anthony's and Budd Bay Cafe, which has a friendly, casual deck and good food at sensible prices.
