Adirondacks Lodging

Hello:

Would like to hear from people that have stayed around Blue Mountain Lakes and/or Lake Placid area. Looking for 'Clean", reasonable accomodations for a mid-week stay in late September. Do not need to be in the town of LP or need a special hotel room/view. Just a nice 'clean' place to lay my head until the sun rises and were out and about again!

Can only comment on the town of Lake Placid ... Check out the Best Western and Hilton and go with whichever you can get the best rate ... both decent places in the village.

Just returned today from Lake Placid. Check out Northwoods Inn in town. Looked nice from the outside, however I didn't go in. Hilton would be okay and Best Western. I've stayed at both of them and they were fine. GOod luck.
