I’m planning on traveling to Anchorage Alaska within the next month or so. I have looked at the planes guidelines for flying and they just specifically say lithium batteries are allowed. I don’t know where I should go and looking up lithium batteries just give me something random. I have solar charger batteries but I don’t want them to seize them because I didn’t know what the rules were.

I will be traveling from California to Alaska

All sorts of devices use Li batteries. Lithium batteries ARE allowed on planes, just NOT in checked luggage. The main reason is that if there were to be a fire issue it can be addressed in the main cabin, but not in the hold.
