I would appreciate a little help....we are considering the following keep in mind it is pretty fluid right now so suggestions would be appreciated.
Fly in to Milan and travel to Bergamo Italy for 7 days.
take the train to Prague for 5 days then the train to Salzburg and Vienna 10 days combined
take the train from Vienna to Northern Croatia for a week.

It seems that you've made some progress with your plans, but if you want good advice, you need to tell us your interests -- as noted on your other thread:
4 weeks in Europe , Croatia, Prague and where else?????

Do you mean to spend the whole week which you set aside for Italy in Bergamo?

It's a lovely city, but it doesn't deserve more than 1-2 nights and it's not in a good location for daytrips to make it worth spending a whole week.

What you suggest is possible, but involves some very long train trips and skips lots of interesting places between these few stops. I'd at least add another stop between Bergamo and Prague and between Salzburg/Vienna and Croatia.

I'd do what I already suggested in your other thread: Leave Italy for another time, start in Prague and work your way down slowly(with multiple stops in southern Czechia, Austria, Slovenia) to Croatia.

Oh, and why stop in Northern Croatia? Why don't you add another week for Croatia and head for Dalmatia(Southern Croatia) which is even more beautiful than the north?

The most logical route IMO:

Night train from Milano to Salzburg.( If you add more time for this trip it would be much nicer to cross the Alps by daytime trains)

Train from Salzburg to Prague via Linz.

Train from Prague to Vienna.

Train from Vienna to Zagreb (maybe breaking the trip for 1-2 nights in Graz).

Is this different than your 14 days in Croatia question on another thread? In addition to it? Or you are changing your timing and length of trip?

yes, this is different, I’m looking at different options and hopefully based on the feedback will be able to come up with a viable travel plan. Appreciate your feedback.

I'd do 1 week Czechia, 1 week Austria and 2 weeks Croatia.

Bergamo, Croatia

I'd have to agree that Bergamo is lovely, yet not for a week. A few days should be more than enough, and this way there would be more time to discover Croatia, which, again, I do have to agree is beautiful not only in the North.

Hope you enjoy the traveling experience whatever you decide
