Westin Cabo -- How to get from the airport to the hotel

Can anyone tell me how to get from the airport to the Westin in Cabo? We are not going to rent a car. Are there taxis available? I have heard that the airport is a nightmare with people trying to sell you timeshares so I am trying in advance to avoid that craziness. Any help would me nuch appreciated.

Try contacting your hotel to see if they can arrange for a shuttle with a reputable company (we had ours prearranged when we went). Otherwise you'll be fine with a taxi. If you make arrangements at the airport just make sure that any driver you go with is not associated with timeshares. Cabo is pretty bad for timeshare salespeople - if you look like you have money you will be hassled a bit but just stick to your guns and they will leave you alone. Remember that if a deal looks too good to be true it's probably tied into a timeshare presentation.

Have a great trip - Cabo is beautiful!

Question - how can you tell the "real" taxi drivers from the timeshare scams?
Is there an "official" taxi stand where you pay upfront, or do you just wait at the curb and hop in the next car to arrive?
thanks

The Westin Regina offers a shuttle/car service, call the concierge. We did not have one experience at the airport of people trying to sell us timeshares - not one. Are you sure you don't want to rent a car though? Do you plan to sightsee at all or stay at the resort? Getting to and from Cabo and San Jose gets pricey and the Westin is in the Corridor (basically)

I was able to email the concierge, who was very helpful. He booked us on a shuttle. It is a little expensive but worth avoiding the hassle. I don't think we are going to rent a car because I doubt we will do much sightseeing. Maybe a snorkel or sunset cruise and a couple nights in each town. Probably will do the shuttle and then take a cab back.

Does anybody have any recent reports on the Westin in Cabo? Thanks in advance.
