Pararso de la Bonita vs. Maroma hotel

Need help in choosing between the Paraiso de la Bonita or the Maroma hotel.Which of these two properties has the better beach? What is the distance to Playa del Carmen from these hotels?

Maroma is thought of as having one of the world's best beaches. Paraiso de la Bonita's beach apparently has a lot of seaweed and isn't the pretty aqua color the area's so famous for. (have not seen either myself, but this is what I've gathered from being a compulsive review reader for this area, lol!)

Hi,
Have not stayed at Paraiso but have been to Maroma at leatst 4 or 5 times. Beach is great. Maroma is my husband's all time favorite beach destination--maybe all time favorite destination!
