How much time do you have to find the dress and organize the fittings? What do you mean by not very expensive? (Or are you asking where you can get some sort of inexpensive dress that might resemble a wedding dress?)

And if you're planning on getting married in Italy - have you looked into the legalities involved - which I think will take a lot longer than finding a dress.

A specific amount would still help. And if you're only in Milan for 2 days how would you have your fittings alterations done.

There are 3 young women in my office getting married - well one did this weekend. One is a very casuale event in a garden and she go her dress in a bridal shop - I believe only about $1500 with the discount. Another is having a more formal wedding but is of relatively modest means and her dress - again bridal shop was I believe about $3200. The third is having her parents helo her pay for the wedding and the designer gown is about $12,000. All had at least 3 fittings.

So - there is rally quite a range of prices.

Maybe someone local can make a reco.

Hello, travelgam. Are you referring to a traditional wedding dress or a lovely dress that you want to wear to your wedding. There are so many shops in Milan needless to say, I have no idea however where you would find a dress for your wedding with such a short span of time for shopping. If however do you find a dress you love IF you have a dressmaker or seamstress where you live that could alter the dress to fit you properly that would take care of that problem.
