What can I wear in Cambridge wedding??

I'm desesperated because I was invited to Cambridge wedding, but I don't know what the England woman wears in weddings. I'm brazillian and I wish to stay beautiful in cerymony and party but I don't feel myself obligation in dress the same nativer. But in other hand, I need to have idea about. I'm 29 years old, the marriage will happen in summer (August), at 4:00h in the afternoon and continues for all night. I'll be grateful for any advice.

Women generally wear a nice day dress (i.e. not a long dress) or a suit. Since you are Brazilian I expect you will look fabulous in a slinky dress ! Perhaps with a short jacket in case it's cool outside for the photos, although hopefully it won't be in August. If the wedding is in a church it might be appropriate to wear a jacket in there too, depending on how revealing your dress is.

The number of women wearing hats varies from wedding to wedding. They are never compulsory but I like to wear one if others are. If you might like to, ask the bride if others are. Many women now wear a 'fascinator' as an alternative to a hat, especially in the summer.

Wear the prettiest summer dress you can find and if you can find an adorable but silly hat, wear that too.
At every wedding I've attended at least some of the female guests wore hats. The bride's and groom's mums will certainly wear them.

is it in a college or in the town. If in a college be prepared for jolly tea and booze on a lawn so think about your heels.

Lawns less of a problem in general town wedding but might want to check out
Note that UK churches will not be heated in summer (last one I went to I nearly died

All of the above advice is good.

A pretty summer dress w/ a jacket or lovely cardigan sweater or maybe a pashmina or shawl. Even if it is a warm or hot day, it will be cool in the church.

English women use the occasion to buy a mad hat. You probably need to get a hat.
