best obviously would be taxi in every case - best in what way? Price - time ?

www.tfl.org.uk or some such ending for exact tube connection. check to see if there are direct buses as well.

To get a driving time estimate, go to www.viamichelin.com and enter the address of your hotel as your departure point and Waterloo International as your arrival point.

By tube, eastbound District Line to Westminster, change to Jubilee Line for Waterloo. I don't know West Ken, but I assume some stairs there to get to the platform, thereafter, it's escalators all the way. But if you're going to Waterloo International, you'll have to walk from one side of Waterloo to the other, either through the main concourse, or along a moving walkway underground.

No direct bus.

How much luggage? If you can easily handle it, then the tube will be fine. A cab won't be cheap - but it will be "door to door".
