Travel from Turkey to Mykonos & Santorini
We are planning a trip to Turkey in July. We would like to visit the Mykonos & Santorini islands, but would like to avoid going to Athens. Is there a direct route from a port in Turkey to these islands? Thanks

Flights connecting through Athens are quickest. Or ferry from Kusadasi to Samos. Ferries leave from Samos to Greek islands. And yes, there are ferries from Mykonos to Santorini. Or at least there were. Who knows what will be running in the near future?

You can get to Santorini from Kos and Rhodes. You can get to Kos and Rhodes from Bodrum and Marmaris.

You can get to Mykonos from Samos by first going to Syros. You can get to Samos from Kusadasi.

If you're in Istanbul you can fly directly to Mykonos. Check Atlas Jet and Pegasus Air.
