Suggestions for warm spots in Europe in the Winter???

We are travelling to Paris in December and wanted to finish the trip somewhere warmer?? Would love suggestions for places that people have gone and enjoyed.

What do you mean by warm? 50's? 60's? 80's?

Southern Spain can be warmish. For beach weather - perhaps Cyprus or Malta?

Depending on how warm, we finished our trip last Dec. in Paris in Strasbourg. 5-10 degrees warmer than Paris.

I fear your choices will be limited. We go to the Canary Islands in the winter to escape Munich's cold, but that's more than a puddle hop from Paris.

Anywhere on mainland Europe or in the Med will be a crapshoot at that time of year, IMO

Nowhere in Europe. You would have to be very lucky to find those temperatures in Europe in December. Maybe Canary islands.

Or even better; Martinique or St Barths, will definitely have good weather. Does that count as France?

Ok so how long have you got for your trip to " warmer " climes?
You will not find anywhere within mainland Europe that will give you the temps you are looking for. However, depending on how much time you have -

The Canary Islands -
Tunisia ( North coast of Africa)
Cyprus -
Malta
The Gambia ( western Africa)

Southern Spain and the Balearics are popular destinations and , yes , it will be a lot warmer then Paris and hopefully up in the 60's and 70's but not guaranteed. Depends on what you want to do whilst you're there ??

These are the top short haul destinations for winter sun type holidays for Eurpopeans. They are no more that 5 hours flight from Paris but would entail a stay of a few days. If you can let me know how long you have I can be more specific and give you some tips.
