Stockholm Help

Our travels may take us to Stockholm, overnight in late October. (Crazy I know). We will land at about 5:00 pm on one day, then depart at 4:00 pm the next. Ideally we'd see some of the city (if only by bus or taxi) and visit one or two of the main sights. We are very open to recommendations on how to make the best of this short, chilly time and see at bit of Stockholm. Thanks!

VASA Museum, City Hall, Gamla Stan( old town) would be a good start.

Agree with HappyTrvlr...Vasa Museum was a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Very interesting. The carvings on the ship were phenomenal. We also spent hours poking our heads in and out of antique shops in Gamla Stan. Had a great lunch there. No need for tours. You can do these on your own.

Agree with the previous suggestions. These are great places to visit.

Ditto all of the above. You should be able to find a jazz bar in Gamla Stan for some evening entertainment.
