Rome Hotel Suggestions

We are staying in Rome for 3 and 1/2 days. We are flying in from London to the Rome Ciampino airport. Can you suggest any hotels we can stay at during our stay. We are looking for reasonable priced, but not hole in the walls. I heard of Hotel Napolean but it is a bit pricey for us. However we do like the location. Something in this location for a less price would be great.

Hotel Napoleon is a four-star hotel. Use www.venere.com to find a hotel. You can enter your dates, budget and the area (Esquilino).

I have often stayed here and love the location:
http://www.hotelsancarloroma.com/

It's in an area that's easily walkable to get to the main sites of interest, but there are also taxi stands close by and the Spagna metro stop is nearby. Clean, very helpful staff, modern amenities.

Buon Viaggio,
BC

You need to define pricey? Has no meaning.

We always stay in the Termini area - six times for a total of about three weeks over the years. We prefer Termini simply because of the convenience to transportation. Can walk from the station in five minutes. A number of nice restaurants in the area including a couple that are pretty local. We have used Aberdeen, Sonya, and Contilla. All three stars hotels. We prefer the Sonya over the Aberdeen but just slightly. Wife thinks the coffee is better. Both are excellent. Contilla is lesser of the three with a so/so breakfast. Rooms are fine. We only used the Contilla when passing through Rome for one night. Sonya is right across from the Opera House. Nice area. Sonya can arrange a shuttle service -- 33E for two -- gets you to the airport in less than an hour.

Anyone tried Hotel Teti or Hotel Romae? I am torn on which one to book with and would appreciate feedback.
