Romantic dinning in Paris

Hello
My husband and I will be in London and Paris for a week in October. I've been to Paris many times but not with him. Can you suggest where we can have a romantic meal with view. Suggestions of romantic things to do are also welcome.

Thanks a lot

In Paris you'd be hard pressed to beat the view at La Tour d'Argent, on the river overlooking the islands. Food's pretty good also, as is the wine cave.

Agree with hmmm regarding the view from Tour d'Argent - it's incredible!!! We had a table for two at the window overlooking the Seine and lights of Paris - a wonderful way to to spend a romatic evening (assuming you can afford the price tag).

Thanks all. Can you give an idea on how much dinner for 2 would cost at La Tour D'argent. Do I need to book ahead?

I would like to have a walk around Ile st Louis on Sunday, can someone suggest a good eat there, cheap or otherwise.
Thank you

Hi lol,

It is hard to din romantically.

> Can you give an idea on how much dinner for 2 would cost at La Tour D'argent.<

Far more than it is worth. It is now merely a 1* at 3* prices.

Expect to pay about $300 pp with wine.

If that is in your price range, I strongly suggest Taillevent (no view, but superb), Jules Verne (great view, but not so good), Les Ombres (great view and fairly good).

If you choose Les Ombres, you can visit the Branly Museum before dinner.

If you would like a private room in a period setting, LaPerouse. You can also have a table overlooking the Seine.

>Suggestions of romantic things to do are also welcome.<

Take a boat ride on the Seine (ww.batobus.com is good) at dusk.

See the Eiffel Tower light up.

Go to dinner.

Enjoy your visit.
