Rain, Rain... Go away

HELP! We're leaving for Italy Monday afternoon (May 10th), arriving in Milan Tuesday the 11th. We will be renting a car and driving to Vicenza, staying at Caserma Ederle (family was stationed there from 1981-1984, looking forward to seeing old memories), staying for 6 nights, with a night in Venice. Anyway, my concern is I was just about to pack spring clothes and shoes, but I just checked the weather and it looks like rain for the next week with temps in the high 60's. Should I be changing my wardrobe?
Also, any suggestions for must see indoor attractions in the Vento region?
Thanks in advance,
Aim

Unless your spring wardrobe melts in the rain pack it - some light jackets, cotton tops, medium weight trousers, you'll be fine!

We just returned from Venice last week. The forecast was for weather in the 60's and showers almost every day. We had eight perfect days, in the seventies at least. It rained one evening for about an hour, the rest of the time was glorious. So, take the weather forecast with a grain of salt and take your spring clothes and a rain jacket. I had taken sweaters which never left the suitcase and luckily a few shirts which I wore a lot. I hope the weather forecast is as mistaken for you as it was for us. Have a great trip

Sorry, but temps in the high 60s w/some rain sounds exactly like a climate one might expect in southern continental Europe at this time of year. Doesn't make me think of summer, winter, early autumn perhaps -- but spring weather - definintely. What type of wardrobe were you originally packing?

I'm not sure what you're looking for - no one can change the forecast for you - but definitely be prepared for rain with a raincoat or poncho or umbrella or whatever - that's to be expected on any trip.

Just go with the flow - it's a vacation - have fun and do some instantaneous deciding about what looks like fun to do stuff! You don't need suggestions for this, for heaven's sake.
