Looks Like Rain?

Will be leaving tomorrow to Northern Italy (CT ,Lucca, Parma, Lake Como, and Bolzano) . When I looked at the 10 day forecast yesterday on Accuweather and Weather Underground, all I saw was rain. Will it really be raining on our parade?? Was hoping that someone already in this area would read this and tell me it can't be true. The sun is shining. HELP..

Loving retirement, Go and enjoy the trip!

I just looked at the weather reports for Bolzano for the next 5 days, and what I see is much more nuanced: some days, there are 20% to 30% predictions of "chance of rain". Several days are "partly cloudy" and at least one day is predicted to be clear and 91 degrees!

Those weather reports don't say steady rain, but a more typical changeable day - with slight chance of rain. It wouldn't hurt to have a rain jacket or umbrella, but it sounds more likely that you should be prepared for some hot weather, too! 91 degrees!

If the meteorologists on those websites are like the ones around here, their track record is not perfect. So go and enjoy and think of all of us at home.

Hope things turn out well!
