Paris - Need to Finalize Hotel Choice for trip in March

Has narrowed down the choice of Paris hotels, need more inputs to finalize the decision.

Will stay for 6 nights in the St Germain area (may cut short to 4 if we decide to go to Reims/Epernay).

1. If the price between Hotel d'Aubusson standard room and Hotel Madison's double (facing boulevard) is the same (both breakfast included), which one is better?

2. Villa d'Estrees's offer of Suite at 30euros higher than the above two and without breakfast. Justified and worth it?

3. Hotel Montalembert - rate is 20euros higher than Madison and Aubusson, and without breakfast, room is a bit smaller (~200sq ft).

I won't mind spending a bit more as long as it worths it.

Thanks again!

All of those are very nice hotels, and I don't think you would go wrong with any of them.

I love the location of the Madison, since the Metro is just across the street, and the view from the rooms facing the boulevard is very nice.

To me it wouldn't be worth it to spend more for the others, but only you can decide what's "worth it" to you.

Marcy & Others

Apart from the public areas the condition of the room is important to me. Though need not to be luxury, I prefer the room a romantic, charming, cosy, nicely decorated with reasonable size; and a clean and spacious bathroom.

Hotel d'Aubusson has rave reviews and sounds really tempting, but the pictures of the room (even in its official web site) looks a bit dull. That's my major hesitation......

Any comments on the bedroom of Aubusson and Madison?

I didn't think the decor at the Madison was particularly outstanding, but it was fine, and the rooms were large.

A hotel that fits the description of what you are looking for is the Hotel du Danube at 58 Rue Jacob in St. Germain. Check them out on the web. About 165 euro.
