Triples in Paris

Rooms for more than two people seem to be very hard to come by in Paris. We have made a reservation at the Hotel de Fleurie (in the 6th--I think) and are looking for another hotel for the remainder of our stay, which will be in early April. "We" means two adults and one teen. Any suggestions that won't break the bank? Thanks!

Both the Hôtel de France and the Hôtel Duquesne in the 7th have triples and chambres communicantes.

Sorry, that link didn't come out right. Go to "rates" and you'll see they list a "family room" with a double and a single for 165€ or 185€.

Hi lojaneart,
This may be too $$$, but here's my experience...
A couple of years ago I took my parents to Paris and we stayed at the Hotel Le Notre Dame. It is located on the street running alongside the Seine River, on the Left Bank, across from Notre Dame. It had a double bed, and a loft with a single bed. The window overlooked Notre Dame, and there were some very nice sun-up and sun-down views. Because it was on the top floor, noise from busy street was not a problem. Price for this room (from one booking site I checked )is 244 euro. Not cheap, but a possibility for its prime location and views.
Hope this helps,

Mike

Several years ago two friends and I shared a room at the Gotti Opera and it was fine. A bit dated and spare, but it had this great balcony overlooking the street which was really fun and there was plenty of room. I booked it through USAIRWAYS vacations.

There are lots of triples in Paris -- but have you considered an apartment instead? Much more space, usually for less money than a hotel room.

Hotel Muguet had a triple with one large bed, and a single bed almost in its own alcove. We really like this hotel but it is probably booked already. Near Rue Cler.

We had quite a roomy triple (3 single beds, but I believe they also have one or more with a double and single bed) at the Hotel du Palais Bourbon on rue de Varenne in the 7th, very very near the Musee Rodin. We liked the street so much that we went back to it and stayed in another hotel.

We really thought our triple was great in terms of size. There was a mini fridge and safe. Bathroom was good, but they had those dreaded pink sheets of toilet paper. Breakfast can be had in the room, which we loved.

Decent prices.

In December, my wife and I stayed at the Madison Hotel in the 6th with our teen son. Room was big enough, even with his cot.
