Luxury Hotel in Milan

Going to Monza to see Grand Prix. Any suggestions for a luxury hotel and good restaurants in Milan?

Sorry for the bad news I am about to convey. Are you going next month? Its all booked up. I tried booking hotels a six weeks ago, and was too late. I am on several waiting lists. All of the luxury hotels (most are Starwood, also the Four Seasons) are completely booked. Four stars are booked. Three stars are booked. I must have contacted fifty places. I found a nice place in Stresa on Lake Maggiore, and we are 'commuting' to Monza, as Lake Como is pretty full also. I checked into Bergamo also. May want to check there. You can try to get on waiting lists for the luxury hotels. Maybe they will have last minute cancellations.

Milan has numerous Starwood hotels in Milan that have rooms available. For the 12-16th of Sept. Just search www.starwood.com

I am a starwood resort member, and just called about this. They still don't have any rooms, even though the web site says that the Diana Majestic is available. There are rooms at the Four Point Sheraton, but that is not a luxury hotel.
