In Paris, flying out of Heathrow at 11AM
Wise advice needed:
We will be staying in Paris. We fly out of Heathrow at 11AM. Should we spend the night in London prior to the flight? Or can we spend another night in Paris and fly / take the train directly to Heathrow in the early morning? When should we leave Paris?
Thanks in advance!

Wise advice would be stay in London the night before.
Your other "option" is just not feasible. Like others said, you'll need to be at LHR by 8ish.
There are no trains that run direct from Paris to LHR. And there aren't any trains from Paris to London that will get you into London early enough.
You can possibly fly that morning from CDG-LHR, but you'll have to catch a flight at leaves CDG 7am the latest, which means you have to leave your Paris hotel by 5am. And what if your CDG-LHR gets cancelled or delayed? Unless you're a gambler and like to be anxious, I wouldn't do it.

I would only fly if it were on the same ticket/airline, and thus if you were late, they'd be obligated to get you on another flight. Also, if the flight from Paris landed at Heathrow, not Gatwick. So, if both these flights are BA, that might be possible. Otherwise, I'd never do it.

I totally agree with everyone's posts. Depending on your airline, you are supposed to be at Heathrow either 2 or 3 hours before departure (this has been a discussion point before, but I know Air Canada says three hours). So you should plan to be at Heathrow at 8 AM, in my opinion, because the airport is not getting easier and less crowded.
That said, there is one option which I do not at all advise, but you could do if you insisted. That is to take the overnight coach from Paris to central London, arriving at 6 AM. If that time is reliable, and I don't know if it is, you would then have sufficient time to get to Heathrow.
