help with europe itinary
I have about 10 days to travel to Europe in summer alone. Spain and Italy are not part of the plan since I have been those countries before. Any idea of which other cities to visit other than the obvious of Paris and London and Which city to fly to from the US would make the best sense. Please help!

You must have some thoughts you aren't sharing that could help narrow down the choices. For instance, is budget an issue? Some countries are much more expensive than others. Weather, cultural offerings, food & drink. Just cities? Where in the US will you fly from? Do you want a leisurely visit to 1 or 2 locations or is hit & run more to your liking? Please share for best recommendations.

Those two should take most of the 10 days -maybe add in Amsterdam, just about 3.5 hours from Paris -fly into London, out of Amsterdam. Take Eurostar (Chunnel) train London to Paris www.eurostar.com and Thalys bullet train Paris to A'dam (www.thalys.com) - for lots on those trains and others check www.seat61.com; www.budgeteuropetravel.com (check their superb online European Rail Guide for other rail ideas) and www.ricksteves.com.
But really with 10 days that is the best plan to me. 4 d-London 4-d Paris 2-days Amsterdam (would be sweet to add a day there).

I guess museums and nature scenery are on the top of my list for this trip. Weather, cultural offering, food and drinks are not priority. Would like to hit as many cities but don't want to compromise too much of quality. Will be flying from Texas.

Well, you have several hundred choices, so now might be the time to get out a bunch of guidebooks and start reading, also trolling the internet and perusing maps. 10 days is a short trip, and no one can make this choice for you. No way we can tell if London or Bratislava or Lisbon or Athens would suit you better. Come back when you've done some homework and have at least a few ideas. A European trip is no small expense; own it.

After reading all of you kindly input, I have narrow down to two options on itinerary, please provide input on plausibility:
1.PalenQ's plan: London, Paris, Amsterdam. This option probably is most sensible because distance among them is not too far out.
2. London, Paris, Munich. This would be a most desired one. I really want to visit Germany, but I am not sure it is as plausible as option 1 because it seems quite a distance away from the other two cities.
I will keep doing my homework, and keep updating my plan, and I really appreciate all your help. StCriq is right, owe the trip
