Fly to Genoa or Pisa to go to Cinque Terre?

Which is best to go into and take train into Cinque Terre?

Love this forum-thanks to everyone on here for all the great info I've gotten on all my Europe trips for the past 5 years!

I would chose Genoa as I think that there is more train service there- not to mention a straight shot down the coast.Periodically, the train rides right along the water and there are some wonderful views. We took a train from Turin to Genoa down to Cinque Terre last October and it was a great trip.Enjoy the wonderful seafood meals and the breathtaking views of the sea. I definitely want to go back!

OK, tks everyone. I had seen that the train station is at the airport in Pisa and they looked about the same time to arrive in CT from either so I thought it might be easier. Also, I can get good flts to either but I'll look at Genoa.
