On the bus lines with a rail pass-- do you just jump on the bus going to vianden and show the driver the pass or do you go to the ticket window and provide them with the railpass information?
Also anyone know what bus I need to take to Vianden?

Are you sure rail passes are valid in Luxembourg in buses? Where did you find that information?
If not, you can buy separate bus tickets for 1.5 euro for 2 hours or 4 euro for a day (countrywide).
To get to Vianden, take a train to Ettelbruck and from there bus 570 to Vianden.
Check www.mobiliteit.lu for exact times.
thanks for the info. I have read so much that I cannot remember where i got the info or if I made it up.
But thanks for the bus number.
Just to be clear, I am not claiming they are not valid... Just couldn't find any information about it myself.
