Edinburgh-St Andrews Golf Clubs

I will be visiting Scotland in Oct. The first 4 days with my lady in the Edinburgh environs and the final 4 days in St Andrews with my golfing buddies. Question: Is there a convenient place to store my clubs while I am touring the first 4 days? I don't want to lug the clubs from the airport to the Edinburgh hotel and back. Thanks, Red

Red,
Where are you staying for your four days with your golfing buddies, and how are you getting there from Edinburgh? Why do you need to go back to Edinburgh airport in between?

Yes - I'm w/ craigelachie on this one. Is there some reason you need to go back to the airport? Are you meeting up w/ your friends there? Otherwise, you don't have to go to past the airport to get up to St Andrews.

But if you do need to be back at the airport for some reason -- there are left luggage facilities in the terminal. I think they run about £2 per item per day.

I do indeed need to go back to the airport. I will be escorting my lady back there and then picking up the golfers on the same morning. Will the left luggage facility hold a large bag of clubs? Thank you.

yes, you can leave clubs. Left luggage is not lockers - it is a room where you leave your bags w/ an attendant. And trust me - w/ the thousands of folks who travel to Scotland for golf -- there is plenty of room to store clubs . . . . . .
