Castle in Tuscany

Can anyone recommend a castle in Tuscany to stay in? I would prefer to stay in the castle itself, as opposed to outbuildings or villiage nearby. thanks!

Never stayed here - - I realize that you would probably rather have a recommendation based on personal experience - - but this place looks pretty good to me. It has received very little mention here - - two recent citations by people saying that they were considering staying here:

Best wishes,

Thanks Rex - I was looking into that castle; it looks really nice, but I didn't want to spend more than 140e a night.

If you like very southern Tuscany try

Sorano and Pitiglino are a little off the beaten path.
