Best Autp Europe location in Rome for easy access to Tuscany?
We are heading to Italy in September and plan to rent a car in Rome to drive north to Tuscany. We have rented at the Auto Europe office at the train station in the past and with some difficulty managed to find the motorway heading north from there. Has anyone used another Auto Europe location in Rome that would have easier access out of town?

I too would be very interested in the answer to this.
We will be flying into Rome on Oct 3-4 and staying 3 nights w/o car. THEN we will rent car to drive to Florence/Cortona. We thought we would pick-up car at train station. Which would be the easiest way to set this up? (Will be returning car at airport other than Rome.)

Auto Europe does not have any offices in Europe. They are a broker and will get you a car from a actual rental agency like Hertz, Avis, Europcar etc. Depending who they use for your rental will determine how many locations are available for pick-up.

I don't know of another location but am here to recommend that you try to find another one-we dropped off our car at Termini last fall and it was a royal pain in the @#* to try to find it as it is not marked at all and I only imagine finding your way out of Termini may be the same experience. Perhaps there is a location more on the outskirts of town. Also people have recommended picking up the car in Orvieto after taking the train there. You might want to do a search on that option as well.
