Can't Get Italian Song Out of Our Head !

My family and I just returned from Italy. We kept hearing a song over and over with the words "solo capitano cino (?)" in it. It was obviously a popular new song that had an almost "rap" to it. We should have gone into a music store while there to buy it, but didn't. Anyone know what I'm talking about and how we can buy it? It keeps playing in our heads and reminds us of some fun experiences.

Listen to a popular Italian station on the computer like RadioDJ (www.deejay.it)and try to find the title of the song. RadioDJ plays the most popular songs many times during a day. Once you know the title, you may be able to purchase it at:

Good luck!

Perhaps it was..... solo capitano uncino? If so, I think it's called La canzone del Capitano....(disclaimer: I know not ONE SINGLE WORD of Italian, so pardon me if I massacre this!)

Anyway, if that's the song you're thinking of, see this website. Scroll down and you'll see where it looks like someone has posted the lyrics to that song. I think it's performed by DJ Francesco? Hope it's the right one!

I confirm: the song is called LA CANZONE DEL CAPITANO and it is sang by Francesco Facchinetti (DJ Francesco), son of the popular singer of the Pooh (band active since the 70ies)Roby Facchinetti. It is one of the main summer songs here in Italy this year!

Hang on, found it on a compilation CD, on the following website. I know nothing about this site, so look it over and decide for yourself:

But I bet BATUFFOLINA or anyone else who's actually in Italy might be a better source of info.

Here is an italian web site that I have found where you can purchase the single cd of Dj Francesco.
http://musixshop.tiscali.it/search.php

It costs 5.41 euros plus shipping and handling. International shipping (so they say) is also available. Just click on the little grey icon near the title and you add the cd in your shopping cart. A new window will open and if you click on the word which is on top of the window, called SPEDIZIONI, they say that international shipping costs 6.90 euros and that the only payment available is with credit card. Everything is written in italian though...

Thank you ! Now...I don't mean to be a complete idiot, but I choose the song I want, and then I can't seem to figure out how to check out. Do I need to register and become a member?
