Best Airlines to travel from Spain to Paris
O’m looking to fly from Barcelona to Paris for a quick weekend trip. Can anyone suggest the best airline to fly as far as price and reliability? Thanks

I have flown that route twice.. once with Vueling and once with Easyjet and both were absolutely fine. As noted.. do read about luggage restrictions carefully. IE.. on Vueling they allow ( or used to 2 years ago) one hand bag or camera, or laptop, and one carry on.. but on Easyjet they allow only ONE carry on.. so not a purse and a bag.. I had no problem as I just shoved my purse in the bag.
I would use either again,, and in fact am already looking for next spring and for me deciding factor is simply price. It a short flight so I don't worry about extra comforts etc.

I'd take Vueling, with their optima fare assuming you have baggage. I've happily used this fare flying to/from Barcelona a few times with very-well-stuffed luggage (not to Paris though), and I'd easily choose this again next time.
I once flew EasyJet, and swore I'd never fly them again. That was just my personal experience though, they must be ok because they're still in business I guess.
Tip for Barcelona airport: its big. allow extra time and/or be sure of your terminal and gate ahead of time. I still feel bad for the person sitting next to me on one late night nearly-missed flight to Ibiza after us having to sprint through the terminal.

One nice thing about Easyjet is yes, you are only allowed one carry-on, but it can be any weight. Vueling has a 10kg carry-on limit. The caveat is that if your carry-on on Easyjet is the full rollerboard size, if the plane gets full, they reserve the right to check it as hold luggage, so you have to pick it up on the carousel. But if you pay for an extra on Easyjet (like advance seat booking for a fee), you get Speedy Boarding, and then you can generally always get your full-size rollerboard on the plane early, and not be forced to check it. (And I think if you buy an extra legroom seat you also get a 2nd smaller carry on item).
Complicated, or whot? I have had nothing but solidly good experiences with Easyjet, and if it were me I would book them, just bring carry on (to save time on arrival) and get Speedy Boarding - - but maybe Vueling has a similar arrangement for a fee?

Ryan Air goes from Spain to Paris but it is a rip off. The fare is cheap but you pay for seats and bags. If you do not check in and print a boarding pass in advance you MUST pay $45 per ticket at the airport
