B&B in Ireland

Hello, planning on staying for two nights in Ennis. May of 2018. Having difficulty finding an available room. Any suggestions? Will consider all prices at this point. Hoping to stay within walking distance to center of town, but will consider short drive as well. Many thanks!

Are you sure they are all fully booked? Often B&B's don't publish their rates for the next year and take on-line bookings take this far ahead. They may not be full - just aren't geared up for their booking engine.

Have you contacted any (by phone or e-mail) to see if they are actually full up.

Fledh Nua http://www.fleadhnua.com/ is the 20~28th May 2018 but you should get accommodation without too much difficulty. It is possible that B&B's have not yet fixed rates decided on marketing for next year so I suggest you email the B&B's you like the look of.

I have for years suggested Grey Gables which might be one reason I have trouble getting in there myself these days? Glenomra House is also a good option. The Roan Tree hostel is good and has private rooms. If you get stuck we have room but are an hour away so you will get closer.

Try also https://www.facebook.com/EnnisFleadh2016/ which was set up to help folk coming into Ennis for larger events.

We have stayed at Newpark House in Ennis twice and loved it both times. It isn't within walking distance to Ennis but is
only about a 4 minute drive. The rooms are very nice size and breakfast tasty. It is set a little back off the road so very quite and the hosts are terrific. Look it up on line and you will see how nice the surrounding property is. Be sure to stop by the Poet's Corner for either lunch or dinner, food is great!

We stayed at the Glenomra House a couple of years ago. It was lovely and the hosts were great. I second Poet's Corner for a delicious meal. The Fledh Nua was great. We really enjoyed listening to all of the music and seeing the kids dancing. When we went in May I think we booked the rooms about 7 months prior.
