Anything interesting in the town of Saint-Cloud?

I’m a Thoroughbred racing fan and may go to the races at Saint-Cloud on May 16. Is there anything of interest in or around Saint-Cloud besides it racetrack? Churches? Museums? Historical sites? I suspect there isn’t much, but I thought I’d ask. Thanks.

There is the parc de St-Cloud (landscaped by Le Notre), with the Trocadero Gardens and the Rond Point de la Balustrade which gives a fabulous panorama of Paris from the bois de Boulogne all the way to the Bois de Meudon. There is also the La-Fayette Memorial - raised by an American foundation in honor of the American voluntary aviators who were in the First World War.

I used to live along the edge of the park and we spent a lot of time wandering through it - it's gorgeous.

A little bit south of St Cloud is Sevres - with the National Porcelain Factory and Museum. The museum was founded in 1824 and has some amazing pieces on display.

Yesterday I watched the movie "Sweet bird of youth"..set in St Cloud. If I were you wanderful I'd stay away from any politician's daughters!

Sorry to resurrect this old thread, but . . .

we have a smallish map of Domaine Nationale de St-Cloud that indicates the location of the various grilles, portes, and allés but does not show where Rond Point de la Balustrade observation point is located. Does anyone know where it is in relation to those landmarks?
