Anyone have informtion on Echternach in Luxembourg
I am having trouble finding any good source of information on Echternach. We are planning a 14 day trip mid-August- France/Belgium/Germany/Switzerland- and have decided to stop over for one night in Echternach. I have been searching the web for hotels and all I keep getting is sites like hotels.com and then don't even list any hotels for this destination. I can't even seem to find a homepage of any sorts for this city either. I am getting nowhere so I decided to see if anyone here might be able to give me a hand. I would appreciate any input or guidance anyone may have.
thanks
Julie,

Here is the web page for Luxembourg
http://www.luxembourg.co.uk/accom-mull.html. In the search window on the home page, type in echternach. Viola! Then click on the top item which is accomodations in Luxembourg. They are listed by towns and Echternach is listed with several choices.

Please post back after your return. I am interested in Luxembourg as well as Belguim. Of course, Germany and Switzerland are also "musts".

Dick

Thanks a bunch guys, those sites are just great. But do you know what they are talking about when it says Half-board, Full-board? When I check room prices, and try to book a place the information includes this perculiar thing, and Ihave to choose one. I have never seen it before. ???

Julie,
Half board means room with two meals included in the cost, i.e., breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner or breakfast and dinner. Full board means room with three meals included in the cost. Don't see that criteria for any of the hotels I recommended to you earlier here or via Email.
