35 min connecting flights at Vienna Inter. Airport with Austrian Airlines!
My plane arrives at Vienna airport at 16:45 and my connecting flight to Zagreb departs at 17:50. So I have 35 minutes at best. !!
is that enough for me ? If I miss the flight .. what will happen ??!! should I pay more money for the next flight ?
the Carrier is Austrian Airlines (OS), operated by Tyrolean Airways (VO).
I'd appreciate any comments and suggestions

Assuming you are coming from outside Schengen you will have to go through immigration before heading for your next flight - and even though Vienna airport is very small - I think there's a good chance you won;t make it,. Assuming it is one ticket it is a legal connection and the airline is getting you to your destination as soon as possible. This might mean the nest flight out - but if that is full - or not until the next day - you may lose a lot fof time.
If this is two separate tickets, you are out of luck - considered a no show and will have to buy a ticket for whatever flight you can find at the walkk up rate.
If it were me i would look into what other flights there are that day - although you are already quite late in the day - to see if there is another option that gives you a better window of time.

Thanks for the replay .. Yes I'm coming from outside Schengen & yes it's one ticket.
I fund this in Austrian airline website:
" Arrival, Baggage Claim and Connecting flights:
Vienna Airport doubles its capacity, and yet remains Europe’s fastest transfer airport. Passengers can change to connecting flights in just 25 minutes. Short transfer ways and a well-thought-out guidance system provide for a quick onward journey"
http://www.austrian.com/Info/AtTheAi..._lang=en&cc=LY
Is that mean I'm gonna make it?

You are booked on Austria's national airline connecting through Austria's international airport on their timetable on a schedule they offer up as a valid connection.
You will be fine time wise barring any problems. Of course, you could try and book a longer connection, but a bigger problem with the first leg of the flight could make you miss a longer connection too.
Since it is Austrian's ticket for both leg, they will get you to Zagreb on the next available flight - it is their duty to complete the transportation paid for.
As always in these situations, let the flight attendant know your situation and ask him/her for updated information and directions on where to proceed when you land in Vienna. You might even get hustled through immigration if the timing is close

It seems some of the above posters are not aware that a new a new terminal opened at Vienna in early June of this year.ming arrival is on time
This much larger than the old one just adjacent- more gates and more walking.
Some advantages as fewer aircraft are found at remote areas that require busing.
Your luggage is checked through. The transfer time is legal and assuming an on time arrival, can be done.
The Vienna airport website has a terminal map that can assist you.
Just look to the signage carefully as it can be a little confusing.
Depending on orignal flight origin, you may be a transit passenger at Vienna.
Croatia in Schengen ?

As molker said: Croatia in Schengen???
You will arrive non-Schengen and will depart non-Schengen.
There will be no immigration, just security,
65 minutes would a very normal connecting time for that.

sorry, I write it wrong, the connection time from 16:45 to 17:20. I have just 35 min. that's if I the flight lands on time as joannyc said :/
If I book a longer connection (3hrs VEN to ZAG - 14hrs VEN to TIP on the way back) that's will cost me 230€ & long time waiting
and Croatia is not in Schengen.

I emailed the Austrian Airlines & they replied :
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>
"35 minutes that is enough time for changing the flight as you will be in transit area.
In case if there is a delay of the flight Tripoli - Vienna then my colleagues will rebook you free of charge to the next flight Vienna - Zagreb"
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>
I think is okay
