Voyager of the Seas - questions about room service and drink prices.
Hi All - we are doing a lovely 13 night cruise on the Voyager of the Seas - a one way trip from Singapore to Sydney - and this will be her first cruise after a multi million dollar refurb.
A couple of questions - if you order a continental breakfast to be delivered to your cabin is that included in the cruise cost or is it an extra charge?
Do you think the offered drinks packages are a good idea? For myself - a non drinker - I think the $20/day specialty coffee, tea, fresh orange juice, water, soft drinks and mocktails is probably good value as I would probably have at least one of those every day (except for the tea)
But DH loves his wine etc and wondering what would be a good option pay as you go or a package?
Appreciate your help thanks !

Here's the answer to your room service question:
http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findac...dining_options
The website probably has more details on the drinks packages.. Celebrity, owned by RC, doesn't require occupants of the same stateroom to buy the same package. You are not supposed to "share" and can't order two drinks at the same time.
You do want to ask if the $20 a day includes service, which could be another 15-18% a day. Usually, iced tea, lemonade, regular coffee and tea are available free all day at several locations. Because we drink a lot of water we had two liters of bottled water delivered to our room each day--think this was around $7.50 so it does add up.
I can't drink much alcohol so may look at the non-alcoholic packages for our next cruise in April.

Thanks cathinjoetown - perfect! Looks like we'll be having a few breakfasts in our cabin! I love room service!
My understanding is that there are no additional service charges with th drinks package.
That's great though - thanks questions answered - roll on November - just a bit excited.
