The ship is o.k., but getting a little older. However cabins are o.k., meals are fine etc.
This spring it will have a big make-over with extensions/more cabins with verandahs etc., I am sure it will look brandnew after that.

Çruised it trans-atlantic from Barcelona to F Ft. Lauderdale in Octoberand there was only one area that I thought needed re-doing. It's a lovely ship, a fantastic crew. The ship will be remodeled shortly. The only disappointment in the food dept. was their soups and often their fish...meats and desserts were incredible and I'm not a big meat eater.. The E.D. was the best we had ever seen, Allan King (I think that's the name) and realized that the E.D. can make a trip more enjoyable. The ships entertainment crew was NOT up to NCL, but their guests were incredible. Would I sail on her again..in a heart beat...

Hey, I'm old too and although I could use a new body... I'm still viable..lol. Granted the theatre cushions needed to be redone and the one huge lounge near the dining room...the area actually stinks from smoke and new cushions are needed, but that's no reason for not enjoying a ship.. If you want glitz go on a new ship... I wanted an older and smaler ship...not a cookie cutter..

We did a back to back on Century last February, and we thought the ship was still looking great, especially considering its age. Same great service and food we've come to expect from Celebrity, too. I wouldn't hesitate to cruise on it again, and after its redo later this year, I'm sure it'll be looking better than ever.
