We went in Sept. 2003 and like the resort. We didn't care for Nassau though.

Beautiful resort...daughter was married at that resort and it was wonderful, better then we had even thought it could be. You will love this resort, great pools, good food and super staff.

I've been to 2 Sandals Resort. One In St. Lucia (Regency) the other in Jamaica ( Dunn's River Falls) We loved both and thought that Sandals has good food, good service and overall good experience. However, if i were to suggest, i would go with St. Lucia rather than Bahamas....I would love to go back there again. Our honeymoon was as good as it could get for us!

We were there at the end of May and absolutely loved it. We have been to Sandals in Antigua and St. Lucia and had great times at each. But the food at the Royal Bahamian was outstanding in every way. Strictly white glove service. Book your dinner reservations at check in, before you even go to your room, in fact, we did it before they even got to us, while we were waiting drinking champagne. It is only about 10 minutes from the airport which we found to be a real plus too. The nightly entertainment was so so and typical, but there were midnight chocolate buffets that made up for it.
We experienced NO mold, and NO bugs. We had heard there were bugs on their island, and we brought bug spray, but did not have a problem.

Come on guys, the tropics has BUGS! I suppose a really sneaky bug could even go undercover in a Sandals! A couple bugs in the tropics doesn't equate an insect problem.

We have visited five times on day passes and found it to a very nice resort.

I prefer Jamaica over the Bahamas is every aspect, however the Sandals itself is fine.
