Sandals Dunn's river or Couples swept away?
I'm getting married next year, and we've decided to get married in Jamaica. From the looks of things, I like Couples Swept away the best, but my fiancee is looking at Sandals Dunns river. Has anyone been to both that could compare them? I've read nothing but good things about swept away on this board, but It appears that night life is limited. Any information would be great! Thanks in advance.....

Been to SDR 2 times and SN 1. We are going to CSA this sept. Sdr is very active and has an incredible pool and great golf. Beach is not as good as negril. Negril has more nightlife outside the resort. We picked CSA for our wedding vows renewal bcause it is very romantic, great service, exc. food, great beach and plenty of options for outside nightlife if we choose to leave the resort. Hope this helps!

Even though I haven't been to a Sandals property, I will put in my two cents on CSA. You cannot go wrong at CSA. We honeymooned there last May and fell in love with the resort. Can't imagine what you may want that is not offered there. The beach (which was a big factor for us) was gorgeous. As stated above, food was great, rooms and grounds extremely romantic. We enjoyed a most wonderful honeymoon at CSA.

sharkky,
My husband and I spent 9 days at the Dunns River property a few years ago and were very pleased. We thought the property was beautiful and they always have something going on - although they try to get you to participate they weren't pushy about it. We thought the food was very good - I usually don't prefer AI's but we were very pleased with this one - We still left the property quite often and sought out things to do and other restaurants... but there is something to be said for having a "mindless" vacation where you don't have to be expending your energy planning where to go for every B-L&D. Our next trip we took to Anguilla and we did the exact opposite and came with our clipboard with all the posts that we printed from these incredibly helpful message boards. Jamaica is beautiful - have a wonderful time.

The great thing about Swept Away is that if you find the nightlife lame, just to to the beach and turn left and start walking....plenty going on in Negirl outside the AIs and much of it right on the beach.
