Palm Island

Yeah, going to Palm Island Resort in January for a week to celebrate our 1st anniversary. I have read great reviews about the resort, food and service. Staying in a beachfront room, are there any rooms that are extra special? (Room numbers). Any activities we should not miss?
Thanks.

You can't go wrong with any beachfront room. I believe that we stayed in room 4 which is closer to the dock. We
were there in January and it was great. All beachfront suites are along a path. I think 1-6 are before the restaurant and 7 + are after. . .

In your opinion which beachfront has direct access to beach, I wanted to know if 1-6 rooms are better than the 7+ rooms. I know you said you stayed in room 4 close to dock. Do you think you were too close to dock? We are celebrating our 1st anniversary and my husband would love direct access to the beach. Appreciate your thoughts.

You really can't go wrong with any of the beachfront rooms. Personally, we liked the rooms that ranged from 1-6. We did not feel that we were too close to the dock. The beach is wider at this end and you basically have it all to yourself!

An absolute must-do is a snorkelling trip to the Tobago Cays. On the same excursion, you should be able to visit the picture-perfect beach of Saltwhistle Bay on Mayreau.
